CRISIS LUNATIONS 2020:

CRISIS LUNATIONS 2020:  No Eclipses this year on a Crises Lunation

NEW MOON:  October 16, November 14

Crisis Lunation periods occurs when, at the time that the Moon is New or Full, the Moon is physically very close to the earth. This closeness-lunation parallel will amplify our emotional reactions, bringing matters to a crisis point. This Crisis Moon period usually begins about one week before the New/Full Moon and lasts several days afterward.

I find that you are only affected by one of the Crisis Moon periods, usually one that falls close to a natal planet.

When a crisis arises, my advice is always to “stay calm, relax and make no impulsive decisions for at least a week.” The most critical are eclipses. The most potent occurred on April 15, 1995, because it occurred at the time of a Lunar Eclipse. Of course, the event it portended was the Oklahoma City bombing as the Eclipse fell on the ASC/DESC axis over that city. The WTC/Pentagon attack occurred within a wide orb of a Crisis Lunation.  The US invaded Iraq on a Crisis Full Moon in March 2003.

I remember one example – a father called about his daughter who had run away from home about 4 days before the CFM. I told him

what was occurring and that he should wait for about a week and she would likely return home….and she did. After the effects of the CFM were over, she became rational again.  Hormones and a CFM are not a good mix!

During the year, there are generally 4 Crisis New Moons and 4 Crisis Full Moons. There is usually only ONE of these CFMs that hits you — generally, not all of them … and you cannot always tell which one it is going to be.

When it hits, you go crazy and your emotions are magnified. But, when the Moon begins to move away from the earth, we calm down.  I am a Virgo so a rational explanation is very satisfying for me. If I know that I am feeling this way because of some astrological/astronomical configuration, it makes it seem OK and I feel much better.

Yet, there are times when events occur that are not transient.  During a Crises Lunation in 2013, I had an automobile accident and, at another Crises Lunation in 2015, after getting out of jail this man with whom I had the accident tried to sue me for total disability, hoping that I would not show up in New Jersey for the deposition.  In January 2019, at the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse Crises Lunation, I received a message that my dad had passed away while I was in Switzerland.

NEW:  August 2019 had a Crisis New Moon at the beginning and at the end of the month.  This is somewhat like a Blue Moon month.  The Blue Moon (see a short article on my website) is a Full Moon at the beginning and end of the month.  It is my experience that it is like an entire month of Full Moon crises and tension.

August being bracketed by a Crises New Moon is like a month of crises – at least for me.  I have a dental crisis, my sweet cat was very ill, and the non-profit that runs my farm has taken all of the joy out of farming for me.  Yes, I have a good lawyer.  The positive – I will be free from worrying about the gardens.

The Crises New Moon occurs on my birthday, August 30, 2020.  A lunation occurring on or within a day of one’s birthday will trigger a major change within the coming year.  This works even if it is not a Crises Lunation.

In September 2020, in the days leading up to the Crises New Moon, I had day-after-day of plumbing crises – every day for about 5 days another old pipe would break.  The stress was so bad that I thought that I would end up in the hospital but I did not and, after the first couple of plumbing crises, it was much easier.

OCTOBBER 2020 EVENTS:

OCTOBER 1:  Full Moon at 9 Aries at 5:05pm EDT

OCTOBER 4:  Pluto Station Direct at 22 Capricorn

OCTOBER 13:  Mercury turns Retrograde at 11 Scorpio

OCTOBER 16:  CRISES NEW MOON at 23 Libra at 3:31 pm EDT

OCTOBER 31:  Full Moon at 6 Taurus at 10:49 am

OCTOBER 1:  There is a Full Moon on October 1 and 31 – this is called a Blue Moon.  I have observed in the past that a Blue Moon month is like having a Full Moon experience all month long.

GOOD DATES/PERIODS for OCTOBER 2020 – All times are EDT

OCTOBER 5:  The Moon is in the sign of Taurus and, until 2:30pm EDT, it trines Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn.  This period is excellent for all practical affairs, organization, streamlining and drawing maters to a successful conclusion.

OCTOBER 11-12:  The Moon is in the sign of Leo and, from 5pm on October 11 to 10am EDT on October 12, the Moon favors Neptune, the Sun and it trines Mars Retrograde.  Mars R warns us all never to act or speak inappropriately, as your energy will backfire on you.  When Mars R is well aspected, it favors asserting yourself appropriately, using strategy and new techniques for getting your point across.

OCTOBER 14 (CAUTION):  Mercury turns Retrograde on the 13th so it is Retrograde during the favorable aspects.  The Moon is in the sign of Virgo on October 14 and the favorable aspects occur from 8am to 6:30 pm EDT.  The last aspect is a trine to Saturn D.  With Mercury R, it is a favorable time to review, reconsider and re-evaluate thoughts and decisions made prior to Mercury turning Retrograde.  NOTE:  This is the period leading up to a Crises Lunation.

OCTOBER 18:  The Moon is in the sign of Scorpio and it makes favorable aspects from 12pm to 5:30pm EDT, ending with a sextile to Pluto-Saturn.  With Mercury R, this period is best for simplifying, reorganizing, restructuring and eliminating the extraneous in order to achieve success.

OCTOBER 20: The Moon is in the sign of Sagittarius and, from 12pm to 11:30 pm EDT, the Moon only makes one aspect, a sextile to the Sun.  Commencing during this period will not have a lot of activity but what is initiated can end well.  Since the Sun is at 28 degrees, it is an Ending Cycle – a time for draw a matter to a successful conclusion.

OCTOBER 22:  The Moon is in the sign of Capricorn and, after 12pm EDT, the Moon only makes conjunctions to the planets in Capricorn (except the trine to Venus).  Because the last aspect is the conjunction with Saturn, what is initiated will take much longer to accomplish than planned.  This can work to your benefit – the delays — since Mercury and Mars are Retrograde – giving you time to re-evaluate and re-design the activity.  Someone will drop out but this will benefit you in the long run.  They were not very helpful anyway.

OCTOBER 24:  The Moon is in the sign of Aquarius and, from 2am to 5:30pm EDT, the Moon favors Saturn (parallel) and Mars Retrograde.  When Mars R is well aspected, it favors asserting yourself appropriately, using strategy and new techniques for getting your point across.  Saturn parallels favor working with practical, well-organized people.

OCTOBER 26-27:  The Moon will be in the sign of Pisces and, from 6am EDT on the 26th to 8:30pm on the 27th, the Moon sextiles Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn, followed by Venus and Mercury changing signs and going into signs where they are strong, the sign of Libra (Mercury is always strong in a Air sign).  This is the best date in October, one that favors using your intuition in making practical decisions, simplifying and organizing a project.  If done correctly, changes will occur for the better.

NOTE TO READER: These dates are based upon electional techniques.  All of the Moon sign dates apply to everyone.  Do not simply read your own Moon sign – read all of the signs for what I say about the specific dates.  The Moon sign information will NOT describe the day, only the outcome if you initiate something important on that day.

* CAPRICORN (December 22-January 19):  For most of this month and in many areas of your life, you will find yourself “leaving troubled waters behind.”  You will find safe passage from the stresses in your life.  Pay off debts but be generous to those who are less fortunate.

* AQUARIUS (January 20-February 17):  This is a month to be decisive (despite Mars and Mercury being Retrograde) and to deal only with people who are “strait shooters” – honest people who always have their “cards on the table.”  This refers to people with whom there is clarity, who are honest and transparent – you always know where they stand.  A woman with resources can benefit you this month

* PISCES (February 18-March 19):  Everything is about to change in your life.  The Old Order is passing away and a new day will dawn.  You will receive an important message this month, stimulating new ideas and a new direction for you.

* ARIES (March 19-April 19):   This month there can be an important connection with family resources or people who come from Old Money (wealthy for several generations).  It will be difficult for you to make decisions as there is a lack of clarity and direction in your life.  This is resolved when you “take off your blinders” and look at the facts around you.  By month’s end, you will walk away from emotionally stressful situations.  Leaving may be hard but do not look back – keep going into a better future.

The Moon is in the sign of Ares on October 1-3 but it makes many difficult aspects to the planets in Cardinal signs, ending with a square to Saturn.  If you initiate at this time, you will feel blocked, frustrated and bogged down with rules, regulations and lot of Red Tape.

The Moon returns to Aries on October 28-30 and it makes the same difficult aspects.  If initiating, the activity will be fraught with crises, complications and there will be an agreement to break off.

* TAURUS (April 20-May 20):  This is a month to be decisive and direct in all of your relationships.  This is also a great month to follow your heart and take a leap of faith to try something new.  Taurus can get stuck in its ways but this is not what October dictates – take a risk to be more child-like, have fun and trying something new.

OCTOBER 5:  The Moon is in the sign of Taurus and, until 2:30pm EDT, it trines Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn.  This period is excellent for all practical affairs, organization, streamlining and drawing maters to a successful conclusion.

* GEMINI (May 21-June 20):  Work needs to be more like play this month – no drudgery or getting stuck behind a desk.  Working with others will work best this month.  Take time off to enjoy the Autumn months – being child-like and having fun.  Money will be slow but there is much to do that requires little money.

The Moon is in the sign of Gemini and there is only a 1-hour period between 2am and 3am EDT when the Moon is approaching a sextile to Mars Retrograde.  When Mars R is well aspected, it favors asserting yourself appropriately, using strategy and new techniques for getting your point across.

* CANCER (June 21-July 22):   Rest, meditation and taking a break from the stresses in your life are essential this month.  Be just and fair in all of your dealings.  If you rest at the beginning, you will feel invigorated by month’s end.  You will feel more enthusiasm going into November and Mercury and Mars turning Direct.

The Moon is in the sign of Cancer where it has many afflictions from October 8-10, ending with a square to Mars and oppositions to Pluto-Saturn.  Anger, irritations, complications and frustrations will plague any endeavor commenced at this time.

* LEO (July 23-August 22):  Avoid a lot of day-dreaming but do meditate and energize your goals and aspirations.  Celebrating with friends provides enjoyment and fun in your life but you may be avoiding your financial reality.

* VIRGO (August 23-September 22):   Hold onto your money this month – no unnecessary spending (like spending $75 at Walmart on peanut butter and donuts for the birds and squirrels).  You feel on top of things with your work and professional activities.  By month’s end, you will have cause to celebrate – a good time to invite same-sex friends over to party and chat.

* LIBRA (September 23-October 22):  Finances seem favorable around family members and connections with people from “Old Money” – rich for generations.  You may FEEL poor this month but this is all in your mind.  Do not expect the worse.  Emotional support will be offered by month’s end and this will perk up your mood.

The Moon is in Libra on October 15-16 but this is a Crises Lunation period.  There are many afflictions to planets in Cardinal signs so do not commence at this time.  Delays and frustrations and Red Tape will deny the matter.

* SCORPIO (October 23-November 21):   You feel a lot of energy and enthusiasm but it is time to leave a bad situation.  You will find safe passage away from a stressful situation.  You feel a longing and wistfulness for something new in your life – wait for the Retrogrades to end.

OCTOBER 18:  The Moon is in the sign of Scorpio and it makes favorable aspects from 12pm to 5:30pm EDT, ending with a sextile to Pluto-Saturn.  With Mercury R, this period is best for simplifying, reorganizing, restructuring and eliminating the extraneous in order to achieve success.

.

* SAGITTARIUS (November 22-December 21):  There may be a Scorpio woman around you who bears a lot of pain and resentment.  You need to let her go.  This may be emotionally disappointing but realize all that you have, not what you have lost.  A new financial opportunity will present itself by month’s end and all will be well.
