I have heard that Venus rx people typically don’t feel the rx affects the way Venus direct people do, but want to ask if that is actually true in your experience? For example, would a Venus rx have much better luck with a new hairstyle during this period.

It is difficult to visualize your chart but I presume that you were born around July 25 2000. Your Sun at around 2 Leo cannot be combust Mars at 24 Cancer but, since I use wide orbs, they are conjunct. First, there are issues around your thyroid – you probably have low body temperature as this is a signal of a sluggish thyroid which sabotages energy. You are picking up parental patterns — Sun-Neptune indicates at a very early age (3 years?), dad tuned out, feeling that he was a failure at following his heart. He felt that he failed at something creative maybe was successful in something practical. So there is a fear of following your dreams. Much that you described about yourself is connected with Neptune as a parent who sabotaged your energies, talking you out of and not wanting you to grow up or grew away (I have this too). The age of 9 was when this sabatoging began. Blockages come from the Oppositions – Sun, Mars and Venus opposing Neptune — with Saturn in Taurus, you may look for things that you can never find so that you will not be stuck with something that will ultimately make you unhappy. You really have to know what makes you happy. Talking with good friends could help you see yourself better.

I probably wrote to you privately but to address your question — read my experiences with Eris. It is an Object of Transformation, a time to BE WHO YOU REALLY ARE…and not what others expect you to be. It takes 5 years for Eris to complete a transit to a planet. Eris wants you to change your responsibilities to others. The Parenting influence of Saturn in the 7th does not make for positive relationships. You could do the parenting or you may attract another who tries to change and parent you. You must change this. See Saturn in the 7th as an occupation for which you get paid for parenting.

Julie, yes, that Uranus opposition to your Mercury does create a block. Mercury-Uranus are your Beginning planets (see B&E article on this website) so Pluto will trigger a new cycle. You have an opportunity to work with Mercury or not. Mercury-Uranus indicates that you were born into a family that did not communicate effectively. A parent would make decisions out of nowhere, without sharing or considering others, decisions based upon willfulness and maybe even an “attitude” toward Authorities. Likewise, you are inclined to follow the same pattern and make decisions without considering or sharing with others. You may say things impulsively that you probably do not mean.

Thoughts may not be well-thought-out. You have to find YOUR STYLE of communicating. Writing can be edited but words may not. You can use humor or allegory to get a point across rather than upsetting people.

Frankly, I did not notice it either, except in a negative way. At 21 Taurus, it squared my Mercury in the 12th — I had 2 painful accidents and a trip to Switzerland was a disaster.
