OCA graduates receive equivalency towards course requirements at Kepler College, and for NCGR, ISAR and FAA certification testing.
The final examination is administered only after the homework process is completed for each class. The basic grading template is: 1/3 Class Participation; 1/3 Homework; 1/3 Final.
ONLINE MEDICAL ASTROLOGY COURSES with Lynn Koiner, PMAFA
I have decided not to require a prerequisite for any course unless the student is taking these courses for certification. You can study only those courses you desire. However, bear in mind that I may refer to material from an earlier course but I will not re-teach it. You may decide that it is best for you to take the earlier course for your own clarity. While many have heard my lectures on these topics, the special purpose of these classes is to offer personal interaction and analysis of the charts provided by the students.
LEVEL ONE: Fundamentals of Medical Astrology Research
COURSE ONE: INTRODUCTION TO MEDICAL ASTROLOGY with 6 Classes
“How to Research a Disease”
The purpose of this course is to teach the student how to research a medical topic and offer assistance to a client seeking medical help.
The assignment for this course is to research a disease and seek both psychological and nutritional remedies for recommendation to their own medical practitioner.
My approach to the medical problem is:
- Astrologically, there can be indicators for the organs involved. This is helpful for medical testing.
As a medical astrologer, you must be as knowledgeable about current medical breakthroughs as any other alternative practitioner.
- Your purpose is always to offer hope to the client, never inspire fear.
- The assignment will require the student to research a disease by evaluating the Onset events – both astrological and psychological; determine the organs and functions involved; suggest remedy recommendations to be discussed with the client’s own medical practitioner.
- Charts used in this course will be provided by the students for discussion and evaluation.

COURSE TWO: MEDICAL TRANSITS & PROGRESSIONS with 6 Classes
This course will discuss the impact of the transits of Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto upon the health. I will introduce material on the etheric body and how these transits affect us through the etheric vehicles. I will also provide a handout on “Illness Hours”— the time of onset can give a clue as to the organ involved in the illness.
COURSE THREE-SIX: MEDICAL ASTROLOGY – The elements and the four lobes of the brain
LEVEL TWO: Specific Disease Research
This next level will discuss Auto-Immune diseases, diseases of Aging and diseases of Stress. I will teach the Astrological Signatures of the diseases, the Psychological Profile associated with the Signatures, the Psychological Profile from interviews and we will examine case studies. Remember, the charts that we will be using will be those provided by the students. These will be your charts!
COURSE FIVE: THE AUTO-IMMUNE DISEASES with 8 Classes
This course will discuss the auto-immune diseases such as Lupus, MS, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Scleroderma and Collagen diseases. I will review and analyze charts provided by the students.
COURSE SIX: DISEASES OF AGING with 8 Classes
This course will discuss the astrological and psychological patterns in diseases of aging such as Alzheimer’s Disease, Arthritis, Hearing Loss, Osteoporosis and Cardio diseases. I will review and analyze charts provided by the students.
COURSE SEVEN: DISEASES OF STRESS with 8 Classes
This course will discuss the astrological and psychological patterns in the stress- induced diseases such as IBS, arthritis, ulcers, hardening of the arteries and stroke. I will review and analyze charts provided by the students.
